ARTICLE 1 - GENERAL PROVISIONS

Making miscellaneous technical
corrections and removing obsolete and redundant references to statutes and other
laws relating to legislative audits, government data practices, criminal justice
data, state fair liquor sales, a road name, sewage treatment replacement
systems, the legislative commission on waste management, battery management
pilot projects, mixed municipal solid waste incinerators, the workforce
development council, the national board of medical examiners, limited market
value, office of enterprise technology and enterprise technology revolving fund,
constables, fiduciaries, the crime victim and witness advisory council,
unlicensed mental health practitioners and the office of unlicensed mental
health practice, city of Worthington general election date, cigarette and
tobacco products tax and liquor excise tax effective dates; providing a revisor
instruction to update obsolete federal agency names

ARTICLE 2 - OBSOLETE AND
CONFLICTING PROVISIONS

Repealing certain references to obsolete, expired,
repealed, superseded, nonsubstantive and duplicative statutory provisions
relating to the Minnesota-Wisconsin boundary compact, commissioner of commerce
rulemaking authority, Horseshoe bay land sale, office of environmental
assistance, project outreach advisory committee, higher education center of
violence and abuse progress report, court costs temporary aid, Anoka county
coroner, crime victim services director, office of tourism director, sex
offenders conditional release, public employees salary limitations, relief
associations paying monthly service pensions financial requirements, state park
permits for military personnel on leave, criminal justice data classification,
commissioner of corrections contracts, deputy clerks and judicial personnel
appointment and local welfare agency minor maltreatment investigation
responsibility

ARTICLE 3 - CROSS-REFERENCES

Making corrections to erroneous
statutory references relating to the uniform limited partnership act, federal
electronic funds transfer act, federal workforce investment act, biotechnology
and health sciences industry zone property tax exemption, district public
defenders offices financing and court disposition of fines; providing a revisor
instruction for an erroneous reference in an administrative rule and for former
sex offender repealed law
