2E Clarifying private cemetery regulations; authorizing the state archaeologist
to retain a professional archaeologist or anthropologist to authenticate burial
grounds, requiring Indian affairs council professional archeologist or
anthropologist approval; specifying state or political subdivision cost
responsibility for recording and reburial expenses and specifying certain costs
responsibilities on private lands or waters; specifying Indian affairs council
regulation for Indian remains on private land, requiring landowner application
to the council or other authority for authenticated nonburial areas development
or disturbance and requiring landowner notification to prospective buyers;
authorizing the state archaeologist to enter property for purpose of
authenticating burial sites, permitting buried persons descendants burial
grounds entry under condition of landlord permission, defining certain
terms
