A bill for an act
relating to natural resources; requiring the commissioner of natural resources to
remove certain wild animals from urban areas; amending Minnesota Statutes
2006, section 97A.045, by adding a subdivision.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF MINNESOTA:
Section 1.
Minnesota Statutes 2006, section 97A.045, is amended by adding a
subdivision to read:

The commissioner must remove and
relocate or dispose of undesirable or predatory wild animals and their dens, nests,
houses, or dams from the seven-county metropolitan area if requested by a local unit
of government.
