     256.75 Investigations to be made by county agencies.  


    When a county agency receives a notification of the 
 dependency of a child or an application for assistance an 
 investigation and record shall be made within a reasonable time 
 of the circumstances to ascertain the dependency of the child or 
 the facts supporting the application made under sections 256.72 
 to 256.87 and such other information as may be required by the 
 rules of the state agency.
